Hello and welcome! I’m Haroon Sait, an author, speaker, traveler, and a passionate advocate for outreach and understanding.
I was born in Kerala, a beautiful state along India’s southwest coast. My family roots trace back to the Kutchi Memon community, whose ancestors migrated from Gujarat to Kerala over 300 years ago to help grow the region’s economy. Entrepreneurship runs deep in our heritage, and I’ve always carried that spirit forward.
After completing school in Alappuzha, often called the “Venice of the East,” I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Kozhikode. Soon after, I left home in search of work to support my family. My journey took me first to New Delhi, and then to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where I spent nearly ten years building technical and leadership skills in four different companies.
Yet, I always felt drawn to something bigger: a life that combined career, purpose, and service. I dreamed of coming to the United States, where I believed I could contribute more freely to outreach efforts. By the grace of God, that dream came true. My wife Thafseera, our two young sons at the time, and I began our American journey, and 25 years later, our family has grown to six wonderful sons: Nabeel, Nadeem, Nadhir, Nazim, and Nizam.
In 2012, I co-founded the American Islamic Outreach Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to building bridges of understanding. Today, it has programs reaching multiple states, and I continue to deliver sermons and motivational talks in mosques throughout the Carolinas and beyond, always rooted in the Qur’an and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
My love for travel and storytelling led me to launch a YouTube channel in 2024, where I share travel experiences and reflections on faith. In 2025, I published my first memoir, Kerala to Carolina, a collection of life events that I believe were guided by God’s help and mercy.
And now… the journey continues! I’m already working on my second book, and I can’t wait to share updates soon. Until then, feel free to explore my videos, writings, and upcoming events here.
